Harvey is currently working on a research project that studies statistical efficiency in human reinforcement learning.

He holds a PhD in Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences from the University of Melbourne, with a thesis on agents’ (human and AI) decision-making in an environment with heavy tail risk.

His main research interests are reinforcement learning, agent decision-making and experimental finance.
